I love Scheels. Whether you are an avid fisherperson or an aspiring golfer they have a great selection of things to support your interests. I was in looking at new putters and the gentleman that was working that area seemed very knowledgeable and helpful without being pushy. So like I said the store is great, the staff is friendly and helpful, but the prices are average. You gotta at least stop in for a look! The only negative that I have has nothing to do with the store or staff. People don't watch their kids anymore, while I was the trying to try putters there were 3 or 4, 10 to 12 year old kids smacking golf balls around on the putting green with $500 to $700 hundred dollar putters with no regard for others or the equipment. People watch your kids please.

False advertising. Purchased a bike online for pickup. It was not advertised as "used" or "demo", but when I came to the store it was dirty and clearly had been ridden off-road. I showed an employee the website listing and I was given a shoulder shrug. He explained it had been ridden for a while by an employee but offered no solution or explanation why it listed online as new. He also couldn't tell me how much it had been ridden and if it was in need of service. Despite being dirty, it only had a couple small scratches so I decided to still purchase it. I had driven 2 hours to get there after all. Then I was told they'd get it registered. I thought it would be through the manufacturer, but no, it's giving all your info to them so they can "handle" sending on your info to others. I asked if it was required in order to purchase the bike and was told yes. Then I looked at it and was able to opt-out. That definitely should've been mentioned. Then I was told to sign a liability release stating I had received the bike when I had not since it was behind the counter and they were trying to take the pedals off. They said I was good to go after never scanning the barcode in my pickup email o

I frequently enjoy my shopping experience at Sheels. The staff is always highly professional and accommodating. The store is huge and full of products that I want to buy, and of course you can enjoy some of the entertainment (bowling) they have as well. Fun store to browse through, glad we have one in EC.

Scheels is actually a great place with just about anything for everyone and their pet. I will say the space does seem overwhelming because there is so much in the store that you may have a hard time finding what you are looking for. In any occasion I have asked a member of the staff and they have always been kind and courteous and will take you to where you need to go or call the right person. They also make sure they have helped you with your question/issue. Yesterday was the first time I had to return an item. I had accidentally bought multiple of the same item (in store and online) making sure I had the gift in time for Christmas. I went in and asked the first person at a checkout where they do returns and she politely directed me. The girl at the service desk was very helpful and made it seem effortless when I thought there may have been an issue since my card was different due to a fraud claim. She wasn’t worried and put everything in with no issues. She was very delightful. I haven’t ever encountered an employee in this store that didn’t enjoy their job.. it’s refreshing ! No matter if they were in the middle of something or had something else to do… they have either persona

Just the other day, I was in here for my first time. I was promptly greeted upon entering. It’s so nice walking into the various departments, while having employees ask if you need help! This store has EVERYTHING and I do mean EVERYTHING! Employees are friendly & knowledgeable! I was really in awe of the selection, in-store presentation, and plethora of quality brand names!! I did not see, but would like to in the future…“Morakniv”, “Spyderco”, “Nite Core”, “Prism Kites” and “Eze-Lap”. Keep pushing south for store locations please!!
